Installation of Leo Club of Taman Petaling

27^th ANNUAL INSTALLATION OF SMK(P)TAMAN PETALING

 

Our installation was held on 3rd of August, 2012. The theme on that day was 'Ladies in Blue' and the venue was none other than our school hall. By 1.30 p.m, the LEOs that were invited started to register and most of the Guest of Honor have arrived too. On that day, we have also decided to sell our badges to the fellow LEOs.

By 1.45 p.m, the emcess , Leo Farisha and Leo Maesha started off by welcoming the guest and the meeting was called to order by the Outgoing President, Leo Casheen. After the National Anthem and the Leo Pledge led by Leo Eva, we proceeded with roll calls by the Lions, Leos and last but not least the Leos of SMK(P) Taman Petaling. A speech was given by Leo Casheen, followed by Lion Christopher Yee, Lion Nelson Wong and also the principal of SMK(P) Taman Petaling. Later then, it was the induction of the new members and also the new board of directors 2012/2013. After that, a speech was given by the Incoming President, Leo Katrina. Then came the highlight of the day, the performances. As soon as the performance ended, the Lions and also the club representatives of each club was invited one by one to the stage to receive the souvenirs as a token of appreciation. Lastly, the meeting was adjourned by the Incoming President, Leo Katrina and the guest were invited to the school canteen for some refreshments.
